Resident Panel

The Panel was set up to provide written feedback on issues and initiatives being considered by L&Q to improve services for residents. It allows residents who do not or are unable to attend regular meetings to provide feedback on L&Qs services from the comfort of their own home by completing regular simple questionnaires.

How residents are consulted

The Resident Panel is open to all residents across L&Q. Residents receive consultation papers covering various issues that we would like feedback on.

Consultation Papers will include a brief outline with a series of specific questions. Panel members will be provided with a deadline to get their comments returned to us. The results of these consultations are used by L&Q staff to improve our services and test new initiatives.

From L&Q you can expect:

  • At least one consultation every month.
  • Adequate time to make your comments.
  • Consideration of all your comments.
  • Publicity of the Panels contribution in L&Q communications and feedback on the results.

Examples of areas where the panel has been consulted include:

  • L&Q's Decorations Allowances Policy
  • Standards of Maintenance of our Estates
  • Resident Involvement Policies
  • L&Q Code of Conduct for contractors
  • Disability issues

The feedback received on the above all led to changes in our service delivery.
