Our Forums give residents the chance to meet each other and exchange views on specific subjects.

LGBT Forum

This is a group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people who meet to discuss housing issues affecting LGBT residents. The group also recommends improvements to our policies and services. 

Eligibility criteria:

  • You need to be a L&Q resident

What you can get out of it:

  • Help to make us an even better landlord for LGBT residents

Develop your:

  • communication skills
  • analytical skills

Time commitment:

  • Around two hours per meeting, twice a year

Time of Day:

  • Weekday evening 

Location:

  • Central London

Focus groups

These are one-off groups put together by us to look at particular issues. We'll contact residents directly if we would like you to take part.

Eligibility criteria:

  • You need to be a L&Q resident

What you can get out of it:

  • Meet our staff and other residents to resolve or discuss an issue

Develop your:

  • communication skills

Time commitment:

  • Around two hours per meeting

Time of Day:

  • Weekdays 

Location:

  • Anywhere

Community Boards

Community Boards are set up in areas where we're carrying out regeneration work. They monitor the work we're doing and suggest improvements. Some groups carry on after the regeneration has finished and act like a Resident Association.

Eligibility criteria:

  • You need to be a L&Q resident

What you can get out of it:

  • Make a difference to the area where you live and to the services that we provide to you
  • Meet other residents

Develop your:

  • communication skills
  • teamwork skills
  • Analytical skills

Time commitment:

  • Around two hours, twice a year on a weekday evening
